Since 2010, Lili Pepper has stood for reinterpreting traditional handcraft, sustainable production, and superb Swiss quality. Behind the name is Swiss designer Franziska Carnevale, known for her contemporary, playful designs and keen eye for trends. After studying in Berlin and Lucerne and gaining experience in Italy and Switzerland, she founded her own design studio in 2010. Today, Lili Pepper products are designed and produced in Switzerland and Bangalore, India. All prints and patterns are hand-drawn and crafted with great attention to detail.

Since July 13, 2026, her production company, Beyond Textiles Pvt. Ltd. in India, has been an official member of the World Fair Trade Organization (WFTO). The WFTO assesses the company as a whole and its commitment to Fair Trade principles, rather than certifying individual products.
