my sayang - ‘sayang’ meaning ‘love’ in indonesian - is a brand that represents love, indeed. for the sea, for fashion, love for the planet, and for sustainability. and finally - love for bali. a feeling which anja discovered after leaving her position, as creative director in a big fashion house, to go out and explore the world. when she ended up in bali this love grew organically into the beautiful brand that now is 'mysayang'. it all started with handmade canvas bags and became a full-grown slow fashion label that creates products that are fairly and sustainably made, using only natural materials. all mysayang products are handmade by local balinese home tailors.
