art history graduate, jennifer j matchett, began creating jewellery out of vintage italian acetate. after quickly becoming known for her tortoise acetate disc earrings she started her brand. machete now creates stunning eco-conscious, affordable jewellery & accessories for everyday wear. committed to being ecologically and environmentally responsible, machete works exclusively with natural and renewable materials, as well as recycled and ethically sourced metals. but their mission doesn't end just there: machete contributes to various charities and works on reducing their environmental impact by practicing waste reduction.
