atelier agave was founded by joel adank - a food-fotographer, who was looking for a perfect way to dish up the food aesthetically. taking a hands on approach, joel learned how to throw pottery and designed his first collection. each piece of tableware is tested extensively to make sure that it is not only aesthetic, but also practical for everyday use. joel designs the collections in zurich before they get sent off to be produced in portugal - portugal is known for the production of high quality tableware and ceramics.
