cocktail in a bottle - zürich negroni

another derivative of the well-known classic. here, spirits from zurich are mixed to create a friendly summer negroni. the gin comes from the city-famous turicum distillery. for the vermouth we use the white vermouth of the two zurich marius frehner and kaspar fenkart. for the bitters, the original recipe comes from gustav erdmann weisflog, who had a practice for stomach complaints in altstetten. weisflog was invented and first produced there around 1870.

serving tips: pour the negroni in a tumbler over a few ice cubes and stir. then sprinkle with orange zest. if you're really crazy, you can even top it off with some tonic. is otherwise rather unusual, but tastes great!
