these necklaces are made from real stones by nina and each have a different meaning. the perfect gift for someone who needs some support - or maybe also something for yourself? each necklace comes in a nice folded paper envelope with the stone meanings.
sunstone: for optimism, eases fears and depression
labradorite + aquamarine: for intuition, reflection and lightness
moonstone: for emotional depth, empathy, joy of life
jewelry care
it is best to store your jewellery in a soft pouch or box, away from dust, and prevent possible tarnishing. please avoid getting your jewellery in contact with water and lotion. for example, it is best to take your gems off when washing your hands, taking a shower, or on very humid days. gently clean your jewellery with an old toothbrush with soft and worn-out bristles, using either warm (not too hot) water, gentle dish soap, or a product to clean silver. for a simple polish, you can clean your pieces with a very soft cloth such as the ones for glasses. this will get fingerprints away.
please note metals, such as brass, carry the signs of exposure to air and any other element (water, sweat, perfume, …). they will turn darker over time. you can polish brass again using a special brass polishing liquid or vinegar.

words from the founder:
inspired by artisans i met during my travels through south america, i experimented with the knotting techniques and the materials and came up with the sunglass cords. wherever I go, i collect stones and beads for new designs. each piece is unique and has its very own story.
