washing cotton blankets - how to do it:
washing before first use is not necessary.
if you want to wash your blanket, it is best to use the wool wash program at 30°C with liquid wool or mild detergent without optical brighteners and without fabric softener.
colored blankets are made with high-quality, environmentally friendly dyes that only stain very slightly. to avoid any risk, do not wash dark colors together with light-colored items the first time.
after washing, please use the spin cycle for wool or delicates at minimum speed and do not shake out the blanket when damp so that the crochet edge is not stressed.
tumble drying at a low temperature will make your blanket nice and soft again. if you air-dry your blanket, you should not beat it out when wet and should not hang it up by the edging.
a slight terrycloth effect after washing is characteristic and at the same time an indication of the naturalness of the fibers used. the next time you snuggle up in your freshly washed blanket, it will be nice and soft again.
