underprotection is based on the firm belief that sustainability and fashion can be united. the founding team started this label over 10 years ago and set out to create desirable, wearable, and comfortable pieces. but apart from this goal they have one guiding principle: sustainability. to the 'underprotection' team this is not a trend, it's a mission, a philosophy, and a steady process. this is a brand that knows that one can always do better and therefore constantly works to improve its sustainability approach. this starts with the materials they use, which are 100% sustainable, certified, and most of them vegan approved.  it continues with the packaging, paper, and polybags being either compostable, biodegradable, or recycled. furthermore, they live sustainability by minimizing and reusing as much as they can, as well as taking used 'underprotection' products back from their customers as part of their 'take back' program. last but certainly not least 'underprotection' exclusively works with certified factories to ensure that their beautiful products are produced under fair working conditions and pay fair wages to their manufacturers.
